5000 square feet was added to the building. Our job was to establish an innovative, functional yet intimate postmodern look for the buildings exterior and interior with sensitivity to the agencies close proximity to a regional airport. We tucked red neon lighting into the outside lines of the building and incorporated an interactive lighting system for the second floor hallway leading to the corporate meeting room. The second floor board room faces an airport runway so there is constant visual stimulus. The large round window on the first floor was placed in the communal planning/meeting place to frame the landscaping and to establish a calm research area with natural light. The overall color concept consisted of muted earth tones with black and red accents.
